Education within the interdisciplinary PhD program " Society of the Future "prepares for obtaining the doctoral degree in the field of social sciences or one of the nine disciplines within this field (1. Economics and finance, 2. Socio-economic geography and spatial management, 3. Social Communication and Media Sciences, 4. Management and Quality Sciences, 5. Psychology, 6. Politics and Administration Sciences, 7. Legal Sciences, 8. Sociological Sciences, 9. Pedagogy).

The program is addressed to people who would like to research within the field of social sciences in an interdisciplinary environment and using interdisciplinary forms of education. In every academic year, the education within the program is organized around another leading topic, which determines the subject of individual research plans, guest lectures and project classes. In the academic year 2019/2020, the leading theme is " Diversity in Society ".

Education within the interdisciplinary PhD program " Society of the Future " lasts four years and takes place in English. As part of the program, a PhD student is required to obtain at least 40 ECTS points.

A graduate of the " Society of the Future " interdisciplinary PhD program has specialist knowledge in the field of more than one scientific discipline in the field of social sciences. He is methodically and technically prepared for independent, interdisciplinary research and academic activity in selected scientific disciplines within the field of social sciences. He can cooperate with specialists from other scientific disciplines, lead a research team, apply for funds for scientific research and understands the social and ethical dimension of his activity.
