The international PhD program in the field of cognitive neuroscience, CogNes, is conducted in English. Its distinguishing feature is a flexible approach to the individual educational needs of PhD students, both through the selection of specialist courses corresponding to their needs, as well as the emphasis on close cooperation between the PhD student and the supervisor. The ordered courses will enable PhD students to acquire practical skills in the field of data analysis, writing scientific texts, developing presentation skills, and to acquire theoretical knowledge on the methodology of science or specific subdisciplines in which the doctoral projects of participants will be implemented.

Classes will be conducted by both Polish and international scientists. In addition to the traditional formula, classes will be implemented in the form of intensive, short-term courses run by foreign experts. The CogNes program assumes the payment of an additional scholarship to all participants in the amount of PLN 1,800 a month and co-financing of conference trips, international internships and publications of scientific articles. 

A graduate of the CogNes PhD program is a young scientist with knowledge in the field of cognitive neuroscience, in the area covered by the PhD dissertation. He has skills in the field of scientific research, analysis and interpretation as well as their dissemination during scientific conferences as well as in the form of articles in the world renown magazines. A graduate of the program is prepared for undertaking scientific work in research centres and universities in Poland and abroad
