The Doctoral School of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) is pleased to invite join the discussion in a series of International Doctoral Seminars which will be held online.
Objectives:
• presentation of doctoral students' research;
• creating an international forum of discussion between doctoral students and established academics;
• exchange of research experience.
Program of the meeting:
16:00 – Welcome address: Prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska (Vice-Rector for Accreditation and International Cooperation) and Prof. Czesław Zając (Dean of Doctoral School of WUEB)
16.15 – Opening lecture by a keynote speaker: Julianna Faludi Professor (Associate) at Corvinus University of Budapest. She is a sociologist researching social innovation, the future avenues for sustainable consumption and production systems, and digital capitalism. She obtained her PhD in Local Development and Global Dynamics at the University of Trento, and a PhD in Sociology at Corvinus University of Budapest. She is an active Professor at the Doctoral School of Business and Management. She is a Founding member of the Karl Polanyi Research Center at CUB. She is a coach and mentor at hackathons and digital startup projects. She is interested in the potential of social value creation with respect to social change, in the intersection of art, technology, and design.
